Volunteer Opportunities

High Ridge House abounds with opportunities to share your talents and gifts—from leading a hymn-sing or reading a church service to spending time with patients or helping with clerical work. Volunteering is a gift of love that keeps on giving. It blesses you as well as the recipients, Christian Science nursing, and High Ridge House!

Healing Support Activities

Be a reader for a Wednesday or Sunday afternoon service.
Sing or play music for church services, hymn sings, or events.
Provide interesting activities for patients using your own interests or talent or the resources in our Study Room.

Companioning Activities

Read inspiring articles to patients.
Visit or lunch with patients.
Bring your pet for a visit.

Facility Support Activities

Provide computer or clerical support - assist with mailings.
Plan or create a garden or spruce up the grounds.
Assist with community events.
Work from home on various projects
Provide professional services.
