February 2018 — “And Love is reflected in love”

“The depth, breadth, height,
might, majesty, and glory of
infinite Love fill all space.”
(Science and Health p 520:3 (only))

“And Love is reflected in love”
(Ibid. p 17:7)

It is all too easy to focus the majority of our attention on the duties, demands and problems of human living. But at any moment we can shift our thought to what is spiritually true. The allness of Love is worth contemplating. The transcendent consciousness of Love imbues our daily lives with peace and security. It is a practical way of looking at the world.

Our Leader writes, “It is Love which paints the petal with myriad hues, glances in the warm sunbeam, arches the cloud with the bow of beauty, blazons the night with starry gems, and covers earth with loveliness” (SH 247:24). She also assures us that “. . . to all mankind and in every hour, divine Love supplies all good” (SH 494:13-14).

How hopes are brightened, and hearts filled with gratitude to realize that divine Love, redolent with comfort and healing, is here now.

A happy example of the healing influence of the love that reflects divine Love was a recent testimony meeting at High Ridge House. A volunteer prepared the readings for the service. Christian Science nurses and staff supported the ability of each person seeking healing to be in attendance.

Gratitude came from every heart. The testimonies shared by everyone spoke to the spiritual progress being demonstrated in a variety of ways by the participants.

We encourage you to call upon High Ridge House promptly if you need Christian Science nursing care, either at our facility or in your home. We are always available to be of service to you, your family and friends.

With gratitude and love from all of us,
